Let people book time with you
Set the hours you are open, publish a booking type, and share one link.
Instead of trading messages about when you are free, you can publish the hours you are open and let people pick from them. Cresca gives you one link for it.
How to do it
- 1
Open Scheduling
☰ → Meetings → the “⋯” in the top right → Scheduling. It holds your booking link, your hours, and the requests that come in.
- 2
Set your weekly hours
Choose Set your hours. Every day starts as Not available; the + on a day adds a window, which arrives as 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM for you to adjust, and ✕ removes one. Times are read in your own timezone, and the page says which one it is using.
- 3
Handle the exceptions
Specific dates, on the same page, blocks a single date or gives it different hours. Your weekly rule stays put underneath.
- 4
Make a booking type
New booking type is what people actually book — a coffee chat, a call, a walk. Give it a Name, a short Link name (it ends up in the URL), an optional Description, and pick How long: 15, 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes.
- 5
Decide how it confirms
Instant confirm books the time on the spot. I approve each one turns every booking into a request you say yes or no to. Even on instant, if your calendar cannot be checked in time, it falls back to asking you.
- 6
Publish it
A new booking type is a Draft — “Not bookable until you publish it.” Publish makes it Live, and the page then says “People can book this right now.” Hide takes it back out of circulation without deleting it.
- 7
Share the link
Copy or Share your booking link from the Scheduling page. It doesn't change when you change your handle, so it's safe to print or put in an email signature. If you have one live booking type the link opens straight into its calendar; with several, people choose first. Your older cresca.ai/book/<handle> links keep working.
Tuning a booking type
Each booking type carries its own rules:
- Minimum notice — how soon someone may grab a slot.
- How far out people can book.
- Bookings per day — a cap, or no cap.
- Breathing room before and after, so meetings do not stack back to back.
- Start times every — the spacing of the offered slots.
- Where it shows — On your page lists it publicly; Link only keeps it for people you send the link to.
- Questions for the guest — short answer, paragraph, phone number, pick one, pick any, or an agreement checkbox.
- Where you'll meet — offer one or more places, and star a default. With none set, guests get a Cresca meeting page link. Exact details only go out once a time is confirmed.
Not getting double-booked
iPhone Calendar, on the Scheduling page, starts Off. Connecting it lets Cresca see when you are already busy and stop those times being offered. Only the busy windows are read — titles, people, and places stay on your phone. This row is iPhone only for now; on Android your booking page offers your weekly hours without checking another calendar.
What happens when someone books
On instant confirm, the time is taken immediately and you both get an email with a calendar invite. On approve, it arrives as a request and nothing is final until you act on it — you can approve or decline from the link in your email.
Either way it becomes a real meeting in Cresca. ☰ → Meetings lists bookings alongside the meetings you set up yourself.
