MEETINGS & EVENTS

Put your own commitments on the Cresca calendar

A schedule is a plain entry for you — dentist, gym, flight — with an optional reminder.

Meetings involve someone else. Events have attendees. A schedule is just yours — the dentist appointment, the flight, the block of time you do not want double-booked.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Open the calendar

☰ → the calendar icon at the top. It shows your meetings, events, schedules, and reminders together; Everything, Meetings, Reminders, and Past filter that down.

  2. 2

    Add a schedule

Use + in the top right and choose Add a schedule.

  3. 3

    Say what it is

Give it a name — the field is literally “What is it”, with Dentist, gym, flight… as the hint.

  4. 4

    Set when and where

Starts and Ends, or flip All-day. A new schedule defaults to the next whole hour, for an hour. Location is optional, and so are Notes.

  5. 5

    Add a reminder

The Reminder row on the same form sets how long before it should nudge you — from at the time itself up to weeks ahead.

Keeping it in your phone’s calendar too

There are two different ways, and they behave differently.

The add-to-calendar entry in a schedule’s own “⋯” menu is a one-off, and it works on iPhone and Android. It hands the details to your phone’s own event editor; you pick which calendar and tap Add. That copy stands alone — changing the schedule in Cresca afterwards does not change it.

“Keep my Cresca schedule in iPhone Calendar”, in Settings → iPhone Calendar, keeps them in step instead. Your schedules go into a calendar of their own named Cresca, and edits and deletions follow. Because it is its own calendar you can hide or remove the whole thing in one move.

That second one — the two-way sync — is iPhone only for now. On Android the one-off add still works, and everything else on this page is the same.

Deleting one

Delete schedule removes it and its reminders. Notes you wrote stay where they are.
